Hey there,
How are you? Rough week? I know, me too. Despite the fact that this week has been hard, and I mean a different kind of hard than most of us are used to, I'm keeping my head high and focusing on the things I can do to make the world a little better.
That doesn't mean I haven't struggled. I've been buried in fear and anxiety, I've cried, and I've felt hopeless, but I've also been using the tools I know are available to me to help process things. Stuff like meditation, EFT tapping, and writing have been helping. I also put on some music with a sick beat and danced the rage out of my body (at least for a little bit).
So, if you need a distraction from the world and perhaps a spot of good news and hope in your day, here's the content I've made in the last week - it's actually been an exciting time over here and I want to tell the world about it.

YouTube
I just published a pretty big video on my YouTube channel. Something not everyone in my life knows is that I've secretly been writing a novel for the last eight years. I don't talk about it in my personal life a lot, but I have filmed some of my process over they years for YouTube. And well, this video has been a long time coming, because on New Year's Eve I finally finished the first draft of my novel.
It was a pretty emotional night, which is a vulnerable thing to share with the internet, but I wanted to document this moment and hopefully give other first-time authors some motivation to keep going. If you want to join me as I write the last page of my book, check out my latest video on YouTube.

I wanted to share my Ins and Outs for 2025 in my latest blog post, focusing on the five things I'm ready to focus on for the coming year and the five things I'm letting go of.

Podcast
This week on The Cozy Self-Discovery podcast, I continued the theme of rituals with a talk about how to incorporate rituals into your self-discovery practice. There are so many ways to create reliable and comforting routines and rituals that allow you to reflect and grow, I feel like a Part 2 might be coming soon. Enjoy on Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts.

What I'm Reading
The two books I've been reading for personal growth this week are Rich as F*ck by Amanda Frances and Ask and It is Given by Esther and Jerry Hicks.
I'm also reading Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros, but that one's just for the vibes and the dragons.

Well that's it for now. It's been a busy time, despite wanting to crawl under a blanket and pretend the world doesn't exist for much of it. Perhaps focusing on what you want to create might help you with the existential dread as well. And when you can't do that, I recommend allowing yourself to rest. Like, really really rest. Best of luck with that, and if there's anything I can do to help, will you let me know?
Talk to you next week.
